Boycott of Target

A 40-day boycott of Target began Thursday, led by Atlanta Pastor Jamal Bryant, protesting the company’s rollback of diversity initiatives. The movement follows a recent 24-hour economic blackout. Target reported a drop in February sales and warns that Trump-era tariffs may push prices higher on items like produce.

Michigan shoppers are urged to avoid Target’s 54 locations, including in Fort Gratiot, through April 17. Supporters are also encouraged to sell Target stock. Meanwhile, Costco, which upheld DEI policies, saw a 22% web traffic boost, while Target’s fell 9%
